hELLO aLL...

I am currently working on a 73 OLDS OMEGA/NOVA.

I teach High School Auto Shop trying to teach kids the HOT RODDERS LIFE.

We are in the process of rebuilding the COMPLETE front end and suspension...On a Budget mind you!

We have looked over the internet to try and find AC-DELCO, MOOG, or basically anyone who makes the 0.500"(1/2") taller upper ball joints.
Besides the usual suspects like Pro-Forged, Qa1, Ride-Tech...etc

I figured that the factory parts would have these taller Ball joints that someone just repackaged of copied...etc

I am hoping that someone in the internet universe has done this swap/change using reasonably price components besides these other companies units. I mean IF we have to pay double for ball joints just to gain the 1/2" I will....BUT budget means CHEAPA$$..LoL

Just being frugal is all and trying to show the kids other years and makes usually fit even though parts books say the don't....TRUE HOT-RODDING RIGHT? ?

THANKS IN ADVANCE...GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the MOOG numbers K5108 and K5208
Both show they fit a NOVA, was hoping that the k5208 was the 1/2" taller one.

Thanks.

I am not aware of any OEM tall balljoints. You are stuck with the sources you listed afaik.

One of the Moog variants might be a problem solver part for worn out control arms.

K5108 is fits the 1967-1974 Novas and K5108 fits the 1975-1979 Novas.
There were never any "factory" 1/2" taller ball joints.
The 1967-1974 share front end components with the 1st generation Camaros, while the 1975+ Novas share with the 2nd generation Camaros.

I think the K5208 is for the S-10
I can not find a conversion reference to see specs of their ball joints.

Seems like I saw it somewhere that the S-10 uppers were 1/2" taller?

Thanks for your input guys!
