Hi all. I am at the point in my build where it is time to buy wheels and tires. The car is a 68 Camaro with Speedtech Extreme subframe and rear torque arm with mini tubs installed by myself (read: it may not have quite the clearance as if an experienced mini-tubber). My original plan was to run 325-30-19 rear with 315-30-18 fronts on Forgeline wheels. I like the added height of the rears tires in this combo. After putting a deposit down on wheels (they haven't started building them yet), I started researching tires only to find there is only 1 model of tire that comes in those sizes, the Continental Extremecontact Force. If I change up to 335-30-18 + 315-30-18 front, there are only Toyo Proxes R888R and BFG G-force Rival S 1.5 tires in those sizes. I could also run 315-30-18 for a lot more tire options. I guess my concerns are if a 335 will fit okay in my mini tubs, and will I be happy with what are essentially race compound tires on the street. What are you 335/315 guys running for tires, and are you happy with them? It was really depressing to see how limited my tire choices are.

My options:
- 325-19 + 315-18 combo with Continentals
- 335-18 + 315-18 combo with R888R or BFG Rival S 1.5
- 315-18 + 315-18 combo with a lot of tire options

Do you guys have any thoughts on these model tires/sizes? How many miles are these tires good for for normal spirited street use?

Edit: I suppose a fourth option would be running 325/315 combo with different model tires front and rear.

If you drop the front size down to 275/35R18 with the 325/30R19 there are 12 sets available on Tirerack.com.
