Tab or Eyelet Style Lower Shock Mount?

I have a DSE Front Subframe with DSE upper and lower control arms in my 1973 Trans Am. Looking to order new front shocks and have run into some with a tab style and others with an eyelet style lower shock mount. Does anyone know which style I should order? Thank you.

if they are control arms for a stock frame then they should be T-bar style on the bottom.

Here’s a pic. DSE subframe does not use stock shocks. You should order replacement shocks from DSE imho…

As long as you know the length of the shock, and get one with an eyelet on top and T-bar on bottom, it doesn't matter who you order shocks from

What shocks do you have now? If they are afcos, I would get something else. If they are JRi have them rebuilt and revalved.

In either case, call this guy and tell him what you do with the car and what is important to you and he will set you up. https://upspeedshop.com/contact/

In general, I agree. I think Don may be getting at this particular customer should just buy shocks from DSE as an easy button to ensure proper fitment.
