I want my 1970 Camaro to stop vibrating. I'm thinking about the pinion angle, but I'm also thinking about the shaft problem. There is a limit to the thickness of the shaft due to the rear suspension equipped with a speed tech torque arm. I need your advice.

I'll give it a try.

driveline vibration can come from a number of different areas. Does it vibrate on acceleration? Deceleration? Is it worse at speed? Does it vary with engine RPM? You have to give us more information to help us decipher the problem. Pinion angle is a good bet for starters. But that's assuming the driveshaft is balanced and the motor isn't doing something funny. The pinion angle should be equal and opposite to the angle of the transmission. There are a ton of threads on pinion angle and Tremec has a pretty good app to help with it as well. I would start by posting the down angle of the engine/transmission and the up angle of the pinion, also the down angle of the driveshaft (assuming it's down, most are).

Thank you. I tried various pinion angles, but since the position of the pinion is higher than the transmission, I am also working on raising the transmission tunnel at the same time.

Rubber or poly trans mount? If poly try a rubber mount.

your driveshaft looks to be short?
