'69 Camaro 1-1/8" Center Link MADE IN AMERICA???? Anyone?

Does anyone know of a manufacturer who makes the larger 1-1/8" steering center link in the U.S.A? I combed the internet for weeks and finally ordered a PROFORGED center link, only to find out upon arrival it too, was forged in Taiwan. The PROFORGED seems like a nice piece, call me old school or red blooded whatever...I would truly love to have a center link made in the good 'ol USA. If anyone knows of someone making these in the US please let me know!!! (I couldn't find a Moog part)

it's a non wearing item so US manufacturers never bothered tooling up for something they would not start selling for 30-40 years and only a few dozen per year, on top of that you ad US wage rates, government red tape and regulations on manufacturing and it simply can't be made here.

I was much in favor of the thicker center link until I got my hands on one. I had to do some modifications to it for bump steer so got a used GM original. When I put a grinder to it, I found that it was VERY soft! I think GM must have gotten short of them and had some made quickly that were just made thicker out of weaker material instead of proper steel, usually 1045.
I trust the Proforged quality & design under the previous ownership. But I've heard they are under new ownership now.

Ride Tech has a good center link made for their Tru-Turn bump steer kit. It's probably not the thick version but should be great quality and may be USA made.

Proforged has been bought and sold twice since 2018.
