Full floating independent rear axles?

[AbitNutzToo]

I understand what full floating live axles and independent rear suspensions are in. However, I’ve never had either apart. So I’m not intimately familiar with the pieces/parts.

Are there any full floating independent rear suspensions? Also, don't front drive independent suspensions have full floating axles?

I’d appreciate it if someone could school me on this and clear things up for me.

all IRS systems are inherently a full floating setup
if an axle snaps, your wheel stays on the car
