Delphi 670 steering box clearance

]Hey guys,

Has anyone here ran into header clearance issues with the Delphi 670 style steering box? I have a 670 style box from PSC that I bought from Dave over at Pro Touring F-body, and today discovered that my new Ultimate Headers hit the box. I don’t have any stock boxes to compare it to, and this is a fresh build I’m working on.

So I guess I’m just wondering what the dimensional difference is between the box I have and an original Saginaw box. Or one of the other aftermarket options like Borgeson. I’m stuck between buying a new box or trying to get this header modified.

The Delphi 670 box is smaller than most.

Thanks for the reply. It looks like I was sent the wrong header, which was designed to work with 6 bolt LSX heads and offset motor mount adaptors. Looks like I should be fine with the correct part.
