Wheel fitment on my Cutlass

I'm looking at an 18"/20" combo on my 79 Cutty, and I also want to run airride.

Will a 8x20 rim, with a 255/30x20 tire on 4.5" backspace actually tuck inside my rear arch when I drop the car without fouling?

Alternatively, I may go with an 18x8, with 255/30x18 on 4.5" bs, would this be any better?

It should fit Dan....I ran a 16x8 with 4.5" backspace and 255/50/16's for years and they would've tucked in the wheel well....I'm currently running 18x10 with 5" backspace and a 275/35/18 and haven't had any problems but they wouldn't go very far up in the wheel well without some mods lol
