Re-doing the brake system on my 1977 Firebird. All other things remaining equal (line sizes, caliper piston sizes, brake pedal ratio), will the brake pedal stroke increase significantly if going from a 1.125" to a 1" master cylinder? I've done the calculations and can come up with a physical number, but that doesn't tell me much about how it affects the feel of the brake pedal in actual use. I'd love to have some feedback from people who have done the switch.

Hard to calculate as you have some free travel to cover the return port before pressure builds.

As a reference, you have 16% less volume so travel from this point is 16% more.
I would say its negligible, maybe 1/2" more travel.
