View Full Version : Rubber inserts in Holley clamshell mounts

Just wanted to see if anyone has experience using factory style rubber motor mount inserts in the Holley/Hooker clamshell swap mounts. I’ve always stayed away from rubber, but my thought was that maybe it’ll be more durable in this application.

Yep, use them a lot. Have not had a failure yet and I am pretty hard on mine......and they are dirt cheap.

Yep, those are the ones. Figure if I can reduce some NVH without them failing, why not. The motor is probably going to make 500 WHP if that matters. Nothing too crazy.
