I'm looking for info. I have a 2003 Mustang svt hydroboost and master cylinder. I'm using a 2007 crown vic front end with quick take up calipers. Does anybody know of a master cylinder with a vertical bolt pattern that would be compatible with the Mustang unit? My next option is to build an adapter to mount the crown vic master to the hydroboost. Thank you.

There is no need to chase your tail around in swapping out MC's or building adapters, as the existing '03 SVT package you have will work just fine with the Crown Vic calipers...

Quick take up calipers only mean that they run square cut seals designed to retract the caliper pistons just a few thousandths from the rotors when you release the brakes to help promote ever so slightly reduced rolling resistance / ever so slightly improved fuel economy. The hydroboost brake assist units are a very quick take up design, in that if everything was exactly equal between two identical cars and one had a vacuum booster while the other had a hydroboost, the vehicle with the vacuum booster would have a lower squishier pedal as compared to the high tight fast response of the hydroboost (even if both were equipped with the exact same MC).

Concerns of having a low pedal are not going to be the case, and any possible remote concerns of the front brakes actuating slower than they should or not as balanced as they should against the rear braking actions just isn't going to be the case. We have countless customers that are using Crown Vic front frame clips in their builds these days, end each and every one of them is doing just fine without even giving any thought to the calipers, regardless of whether they are running manual, vacuum, or hydraulic assist.

Summary? This is a non issue - move onto another constructive aspect of your build.
