QA1 Front GM Coilovers and custom spring rates

      Hi,

I was thinking of purchasing a set of the GM QA1 Coilovers for the front of my 69 Camaro.

Has anyone out there been running these? Are they a solid and reliable product?

The advertised spring rates seem a little soft but it turns out Global West sells them with a custom linear rate spring of your choice up to 900 lbs.

      Any comments, suggestions?

I'd say since GW likes them and Doug had input on their valving they "should" be pretty good shocks. I like shocks with adjusters on them, gives me options... I don't know how easy the knob is to reach though.
67 Camaro RS that will be faster than anything Mary owns.

I`ve used their non coilover aluminum adj. shocks several times and have been quite happy with them. The range of adjustment is very large, from too soft to be usefull through the usable range to so hard the suspension is practically locked solid. Nice stuff, especially for the price. Mark SC&C
