70-73 trunk area

i would like to see pics of the trunk, so i can see if its the same as my car (80). im building a custom speaker enclosure and was goin to use my car for a pattern but i was told they might not be the same.

so if any of you have pics please post them. id like to see both (1970thru1981) trunks.

The trunk floor pans are different as are the gast tanks so I can't imagine them to be the same.

what he said. 70-73 are the same, dont know if any changes were made from 74-81. (but dont think so) pm me your email address next week if you still dont have a 70-73 photo and ill get you one (im on vacation)

I think 77+ has a big ugly hump in the center of it, atleast my 79 does. Yody has a real nice trunk speaker enclosuer on his bird.

I believe it's '74 and up have the hump on th epassenger side. It makes packaging stuff in there more difficult, but it leaves a nice little pit to sink an amp into. Can't carry much in it though. I'm gonna dive into my trunk project after the car is running again. That should be in the next decade or so....

thanks guys im going to see what i can do.
its not going to be fiberglass just MDF so i dont think it will be to bad.
