Bone stock ls3 besides summit 8707R1 cam with .600@ lift on both lobes
And johnson 2110 lifters
Is it normal to measure varying pushrod lengths?
Using ms racing ls pushrod length checker and checking springs
I did the odd bank today and these are my results

Figured i would try some math
Is it good to add up all my intake #’s with the .035” preload and then divide by 4 to get the average pushrod length then add or subtract that average number to each individual intake to see if i am within the recommended .035” preload +/- .010”
This method i became well in spec
Same was done with exhaust
Once i do the even bank i will divide by 8
But doing this experiment has my intake length at 7.3465” and exhaust at 7.3621”
I can easily order custom length pushrods191033

Are you checking and verifying the wipe on the rockers?

Hmmm I thought the wipe determined the pushrod length. Admittedly it’s been a while and I dont do this very often.

Its an ls3. Bolt down the rocker to zero lash on the checker then add preload to zero lash length so i dont think u need to check wipe
