How to change seat belt color?

I've got a pair of tan/beige Cadillac CTS bucket seats for my Chevy II wagon. I need to dye or paint the seat belts to match my red interior. Any suggestions? One interior guy said he has no solution and won't mess with the seat belts. Any suggestions or advice is much appreciated, thanks.

RIT clothing dye is probably your only bet and depending on the material it may not be absorbed like a material such as cotton. I would advise against anything stronger as you never know if it will weaken the webbing and seatbelts aren't something to play with.

There's companies that can rebuild seat belts from an accident ...they can also switch the color ...unfortunately my brain can't think off hand the name of one
