Modern rear view mirror for 66 lemans convertible

Hi All,

Looking for a modern rear view mirror for my 66 lemans convertible, with lights, auto-dim, maybe garage opener, stuff like that. The issue is I have the stem mount to the windshield frame that is shared with first gen camaros and C3 corvettes. I like the frame mount and don't want to go with the windshield glass mounted ones. Anyone been able to adapt a newer one to their car? I have been browsing the internet and I can't find anything. Issue is most modern ones have the swivel at the mirror as part of the stalk, not part of the mirror.

The closest I saw was someone made a custom one back around 2012 but it's not available any more.

03-18 Mercedes g class have windshield frame mounted mirrors... auto dim and garage door, but no interior lights. I’ve also seen some Porsche’s with frame mounted mirrors, I don’t recall what year/model, maybe something in the 996 era? You will likely have to modify both of those mounts to work with your car though. They are typically angled to the slope of the windshield
