65 gto rear tires on 15x8" wheel?

Wheel and tire fitment seems to be moving towards 17" wheels and up. So not much on 15" wheel use found here. I want to run a 15"x8" wheel with 5.5 inch backspacing. Tire size 255/60/R15, basically 10" wide and 27" tall. Does anyone have a setup like this or have any experience on largest rear tire with 15" rims on stock 65 goat?? Thanks in advance

I run a 245/60R15 on 15x8 with 4.5BS with zero issues, in fact..... I almost think 5.5BS with a 255/60 is unnecessary..... should be fine with 4.5BS
