Hello,
I recently had most of the sheet metal replaced on my 67 camaro. I’ve decided to hold off on body/paint until later in the build and will initially be running with a vinyl wrap. Before I can wrap it I need to smooth out the seams at the quarter panel to roof panel. I know these were originally done in lead at the factory. Curious what everyone recommends using now? I have zero body work experience but think I might try to take this project on myself.
thanks for any help!

I used lead free body solder

I heard of others filling the seam with weld
Others used fiberglass reinforced fillers
All-metal
There are many options

I use SEM Carbofil with good results. It is carbon fiber reinforced and has a bit of flex to avoid cracking.

I used lead on all my body work, there and to tighten up the gaps. Regular body filler on straightening out the waves in the body panels
