Hi!
Im putting my car together and have almost gotten to the brakes. I have new and unused wilwood 6 piston dynapro calipers in the front and 4 piston dynalite for the rear. Both will be grabbing 12.19" discs.

The thing is I have no idea what bore and stroke my MC has (looks like original GM power assisted) and if it will work the way I want giving me a firm brake with "feel".

Do you recommend a proportioning valve to balance front and rear bias? Are there any great upsides to a wilwood MC besides the look and if so, what bore would you reccomend?

I would get a new master, just my personal opinion. You will absolutely need a proportioning valve. I would recommend a 15/16" or a 1". Those should give you a firmer pedal even with vacuum assist. BUT, give Wilwood a call and see what they recommend for a bore size.

Thanks BBScott! I suspected I perhaps needed to go that route.

You'll need to know your pedal ratio if you plan on calling Wilwood. Otherwise they'll likely just give you an applicable range.
