I've been on here for a while now and have just gotten my car to where I'm happy...mechanically. I thought I'd share some pics of my ride.

Here are some specs on it:
LS376 Chevy Performance Crate Enging
Jasper rebuilt 4l80e
FTI 9.5 Billet Torque Converter
Quick Performance 9" Posi Rear End
SC&C Touring Plus Suspension
Bonspeed Huntington Wheels r: 18" x 10" / f: 18 x 8"
13.5 Willwoods: f: 6 piston, r: 4 piston
CPP Hydoboost
TMI sport r seat covers on factory buckets
Vintage Air Conditioning
2017 Camaro center console
Functional electronic parking brake
Custom Vinatage air controller
Custom Radio
Speedhut Gauges (soon to be thrown in the trash)
Toyota Asphalt Gray
Shaved drip rails, Malibu emblems and antenna delete

Here is the car the day I purchased it:
177096
Here is the car as it sits now:

177095

Here is the LS376
177097

The 2017 Camaro console (still working on the interior) and custom electronics:
177101
177102
(ignore the misaligned radio, I just placed it in there without securing it)
177098

177099

Here is the actuated parking brake bracket:
177100

I have more pictures if anyone is interested, but decided to keep the post pretty short to spare you from the monotony.

Love 66’s...nice work. Why are the Speedhuts to be thrown in the trash?

I’ve never had luck with them. They don’t light up correctly. The biggest part is that my steering wheel blocks 4 of the gauges. It infuriates me beyond compare. Lol

Any info on the electric parking brake? Looks like an OEM unit?

More detailed information on the electronic side? I think you've been working on it for few years now.

It’s pretty simple. I got an actuator with a 2” stroke and 400lb pulling force. Then I used a smart controller that will limit travel based on current draw (which should be a decent measurement of force applied). Nice thing about that, it should self adjust.

https://www.e-motioninc.com/v/vspfiles/assets/images/MC200-201%20Operation%20Guide%202017.pdf

the unit can be controlled with a momentary switch (as is with my setup) or a latching switch.

The guys at e-motion have amazing customer service. I ruined an actuator and they didn’t leave me hanging (even though it was 100% my fault.)

Very cool project! I'm surprised about the SpeedHut gauges, I loved the one's that I had in my 1976 T/A. Everyone loves pictures, so please feel free to post as many as you can. Before I bought my 1968 Camaro, I was seriously looking at the 66 Chevelle's. Always been my favorite year.

Wow, great work. I have questions and comments-
1- I tried Speedhut gauges and got them working perfect, but the line of sight sucked, so the stock dash went back in and I didn't use them for my big build and went with RTX Dakota instead. Not disappointed.
2- What is your radio setup? I've never seen a head unit like that and would like to know more. I haven't done tunes yet because I have an original radio delete plate I really like. Your setup is interesting.
3- You obviously have machining skilz, the bezel for the Garmin is sweet, what are the switches for under it? Also, the same with the A/C and stereo bezels, did you make them?

thanks for the positive feedback.

1- do you have a 66/67? Do you have a smaller steering wheel? I’m really interested in your input. I’m actually thinking about recessing the gauges too. I think I’m going to get a speedometer and tach, then put the other gauges on an oled screen between them.
I wanted to do something like this (I just don’t have the time):
177130

2- radio setup is a project I’m working on. I did the cad and had someone machine it. I designed a prototype pcb but now I’m having it professionally made. Here is an in action video of the unit:

https://youtu.be/xoZxOz9wMjU
it’s costing me many times more than the best head unit out there. But it fits my theme and it’sa creative outlet for me.

3- the garman bezel was the easiest. There is a company called front panel express. They have a pretty simple software that lets you design the panels then they will cut it out for you. You can have them print on the pieces as well. I’ve used them for parts at work and for other panels that never made it into the car. I may even use them for the gauge cluster cluster panel. the ac piece was something I did the cad for and had a machinist cnc for me. I’m stuck on what to finish it with. I think I may powder coat them.
The switches are for the power windows. I wasn’t sure if I should label them or not. I just couldn’t find a way to make it look good with labels or icons, so I left it black.

Here is a video of the vintage air controller

Here is a video of my dash fired up, but not finalized. I'm not sure that wheel is staying or not, but hat's what I had in the '66 with the Hut gauges and it was annoying as hell. I don't have any pics of the Speed hut dash here, but it was set up in a Classic Dash face piece. That is a crazy head unit, no wonder we haven't seen anything like it!

i couldn’t see the video but I’m glad someone shared my frustration with the gauges!

I don’t have a great baseline to compare it to but the tear end feels strong and it’s not loud at all. I am very pleased with the purchase. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I can’t comment on drivetrain power loss as I swapped it the same time I put in the ls3.

I have a QP 9" and they were great, great quality and price.
