Brake line sizing

Looking for input on brake line sizing. GM used 3/16" on the front disc brakes and on the rear axle, but ran 1/4" from the master cylinder to the rear axle. I'm running disc all the way around (using a Bear brakes prop valve) and bending my own brake lines.....is there any reason I cannot run 3/16" on the entire car??

Thoughts??

I use 3/16 and -3 fittings throughout on both my Corvette and Suburban....no issues at all.
