I have searched and searched and found nothing. Is there a universal joint that will eliminate the stock rag joint on my 68 firebird? Or is it accepdable to run the rag joint at an angle? Thanks!

Try Flaming River. They will have a needle bearing U-joint that will work.

I took the steering column out but I cant see how the fitting on the column is supposed to come off...there are no bolts and I cant pry it off. Am I missing something here? i am reluctant to bust out the torch for heat. Should it just slide off the column shaft or is it connected?
