I have replaced the window regulators, and the crank handle on my '68 Camaro. The handle fits the regulator terribly, Loose as a goose, not a little but by quite a bit. I've tried the handles from two different manufacturers. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a cure?

I remember having this problem years ago. I think I concluded it was the repop regulator. Try to find an original regulator and see if the cranks fit any better. Or try to find an original crank and see how it fits the repop regulator.

I have the original regulators I'll try this afternoon. Thanks Don
Is there a way to tighten them up? I was wondering about maybe an aftermarket billet option.

It was a long time ago but I vaguely remember going back to the original regulators. I’ve used power windows on every build since then. Of course that is a completely different can of worms....
Hopefully someone with a better memory than me will chime in.
I think the Lokar cranks use a set screw.

I tried the window cranks on the old regulators and they were loose as well. I'm guessing the cranks just aren't built to close enough tolerances. I tried two sets of cranks from two different manufacturers. I'll look into the Lokar ones.
