I love "off the beaten path" projects like this, so I'm subscribed.
And though I'm not a chassis builder, that outrigger setup for the front of the 4-link looks very unstable. Might I suggest triangulating it to the chassis?

Pretty cool build, my uncle has one of these 4 doors with under 20k miles all original that Ive been trying to get off of him for years and do this very thing that you are. He seems to think the car with worth $50k and is going to sell it when he retires. Ive told him I dont think it worth anything near that.

Drooling!! I almost bought the same seat but thought they may seem too large. Were the factory mounts flat to match the floor? Do tell!! More details. I hate my 96 pontiac seats that came with the car. Definatelt interested in more deetz!!

Yes the mounts are flat all they way across..they sit a lil high but I figure when I get interior done I can loose head rest and they will sit right at door height super comfortable

In regards to your gas tank.....you could probably slide a 70ish camaro tank in that spot. Mine was 70 or 71 and it fit in about that same area. 120 from rock auto. They even have a drop in sending unit that houses a fuel pump for cheap.
