LS3 water pump inlet/outlet

Does the water pumps on the GM crate LS3 engines have an Inlet and an Outlet for the heater hoses ??? The 2 hose connections are side by side next to each other.

Yes. The smaller one is the out side. The larger one is the return.

Also, as you mentioned, the smaller fitting is the outlet side, this would be considered the (Intake) as per the directions/diagram from Vintage Air correct?
