How did you guys run your power steering hoses from the pump ?? I'm using the complete Holley LS swap kit. Just looking for some ideas. Thx!

I convert the steering box and pump to AN-6 fittings then go to my local hydraulic store and have them make custom hoses for me. Tell them what you are doing and a good shop can help. They generally call AN fittings JIC in the industrial world...

You're welcome. I am sure others have done it differently, but that's my go to way...

Honestly, I'm not sold on converting to AN fittings. I'm using a metric box and the fittings are pretty solid with no leaks. I would like custom bent tube ends like OEM.

Power steering hose from a C5 Corvette has the right fittings but is too short for a first gen F body. You could probably have one extended by a hydraulic hose shop.

It works great on A body cars.
There is a local shop here that will cut and braze etc to customize hoses. Might be one near you.

I converted to AN fittings and then bought some hose ends and PS hose to fit/ size the line myself.

Thx for the reply. I didn't want to convert to AN fittings and run hose from pump to the box. I want hard lines like OEM.

Hi Donny. Your hardline solution should contain a length of hose to absorb vibration like the OEMs.

I've heard of some guys taking the OEM pump side end along with the box side end and having shops fuse the two by fitting the correct length of rubber between them.
Hope that makes sense, if you look at some of the OEM lines and how they wind around stuff this is a good option. The 98-02 Fbody pump that I used for example has a pretty one off shape to it. Starting with these and replacing the center hose section to size seems like a good option, though I have not tried it.
