6L80/6L90 rear end gearing

What rear end gearing are you using for 1st gen Camaros with the 6 speed auto transmissions?

It looks like the Corvette used 2.56 or 2.73, and the Camaro and Caddy use 3.23. Since the 1st gen Camaros are similar in weight to the Corvette, that seems like a reasonable direction, but it may put highway cruising in 6th gear too low for a built engine (~400-500 rwhp).

What do you all think?

What tire size are you running? I am running a 26" tall rear tire with 3:23 gears, and this gives me around 1900 rpm at 70 mph. This is a 1965 Buick Skylark and a 6L80 transmission. First gear is still plenty low for any drag racing.
