Hey guys,
Looking for a power steering pump for my LSA and Chassisworks rack and pinion. Their instructions state flow rate of 1-1.5gpm. Any ideas what pump I can use and brackets needed to bolt up to LSA? Also their output shaft is 16.8mm DD. Seems like they are the only ones that make u joints that size? Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Turn-One has a pump that will bolt to the factory LSA accessory drive.

I think there is an add on kit as well. I think this is the route I'm taking. The part numbers are listed individually.

The problem is that I don't know the flow rate of the pumps. I know the L99 camaro pump will fit also and they are available pretty cheap. The problem is the flow rate. Anyone know the flow rate of the pumps??

Flow rate of stock pumps is too high. Over 2.0 as best I can recall.

I think I found what I was looking for in that thread:
2010+ Camaro
Flow: 0.9 to 1.3 GPM @ 400 RPM; 1.8 to 2.2 GPM @ 1500 RPM - Flow tested at about 100psi
That should put me pretty close in range and the LS3 is same block as LSA so I should be able to bolt up the stock camaro pump no problem.
Thanks!
Now if I can find 16.8mm ujounts that are less than $100 each

Good to know. Looks that that pump and bracket combo is cheap!

Just a FYI, 2010-2012 Camaro V8s had hydraulic power steering, 2013-up V8 used electric steering.

Just throwing another option out there for you. I normally use a PS bracket off the older CTS-Vs (LS6 version / GM # 12578551). Then you can use an aftermarket pump from Sweet or Howe. They offer them in a wide variety of PSI and flow rates, most within your needs. The only downside is that you would have to run a remote reservoir.
