View Full Version : manual master cylinder for early Ford after 4 wheel disk upgrade?

Just went to Aerospace front disks and swapped in a disk brake rear from an Explorer in my 1964 Fairlane project(will post pics soon) but need a master cylinder. Most use a late model Mustang/Explorer setup, but I have manual brakes and will probably need something with a smaller bore. Any suggestions for something that is not too difficult to adapt?

Some of the ford car rear calipers use a HUGE bore dia, check out what size you have front and rear then post the info here.

I bought a early 70's manual Corvette master cylinder to try... will be putting it on next weekend, I imagine.
I have SSBC kit for 63Fairlane
