Borrowed a 285/40/18 from a buddy and it is on an 11" wheel so its right at 300mm. It fits but only 1/4" on the inside and maybe 1/2" at the wheel lip. I'm looking at getting 285/40/18's on a 10" wheel on the rear with 6.25bs. I added an extra 1/4" in case I add disc brakes.. Anyone have any experience on a 66/67? Car is lowered BTW.

I'm lookin at a 18x8 in the front with a 245. I had 245/45/17 on the front with 0 offset and it rubs the wheel house. I'm thinking the 8" with 5.75bs but that seems like a lot. I did bolt on a 18x8 with 5"bs and although it cleared it was still extremely close with the wheel straight.

I have dropped spindles, tall ball joints and factory style disc brakes.

Looking for some input.

Also looking WOR 18" wheel choices with custom offset around the $400 range. I have found TTII and salt flats but would like more options.

No help with a car, but I bought some 18" Vision 143's for the El Camino...would look great on your car.

18x8.5 w/5.1BS for the front and 18x9.5 w/5.75BS on the rear.

Not custom, but they are available in a wide range. Check them out on the Summit site to see if they offer what you seek.

Yea, they don't. :(

You could narrow the housing to get where you want to be...another option to weigh. I narrowed mine slightly and it helped fitment...also added Ford housing ends and it opened up disc brake options as well.

The rear is not the problem, the front is.

Spacers?

I need to go in, not out. Did you read the issues I spoke about?

Yes...from your first post - "I'm lookin at a 18x8 in the front with a 245. I had 245/45/17 on the front with 0 offset and it rubs the wheel house. My thoughts were simply to try a larger BS wheel and use the spacer to bring it back out where you need it...carry on.

What did you end up going with? I've got similar fitment issues on my 66 Tempest.
