One more tire question!!

Before I place my order I just wanted a couple more sets of eyes. These tires are going on my street driver 68 camaro full ride tech level 2 suspension with tru turn. 18x8.5 front wheels and 18x10.5 rear wheels. I wanted a little more side wall to help with the crappy new england roads. This is what I am about ready to purchase do these sizes look good?

Looking at similar sizes except rear your going bigger ,Im not 100% But i was told 285 rear is tight onmy 1971 chevelle ,partly because of a lowered suspension good luk i like your size rear that is what i want

Unless you have mini tubs, Your rear wheel choice is too wide. 275 35 18 is largest most can fit in standard wheel well for 67 / 68 . Even then you will want to roll the inner edge of fender for rough roads, or risk loosing chunks of tire when you hit a bump. Inner well to fender lip is normally about 11.25 inches. 69 owners get an additional 1.5 inch. Your 10.5 wide rear wheels will be tight.

I run 19x10 & 18x8.5 wheels on my non mini tubbed 68. I opted for a 245/40/18 front. Zero issues. As far as rear I've ran 295/30/19 pilot super sports in the past and didn't have any clearance issues however 295 was the limit. I got a deal on some Pirelli P Zeros and now run a 285/30/19. They fit perfectly in the wheels and only weigh 26lbs per tire. I believe you are should be good to go with the 295/35/18 however if you want to be safe (every car is a little deferent) a 285/35/18 would be an option.
