Hi,
I did a couple of searches but didn't turn up anything so i thought i would ask if anyone knows whether or not a third-gen GTA 16x8 wheel will fit on a first gen F-body with sick suspension? I just need to roll the car around on something, and that's all i can find on Craigslist locally.
Thanks,
Steve

Well, i just found pictures of my '67 with them on, so i suspect they will fit a '69 without hitting. It's been 20-plus years since i had that car, so i couldn't remember for sure.

I've rolled my 67 around on my GTA wheels before.
If you just want something cheap to roll the car around on, I like to get donut spare tires from the junk yard. They are usually around $10 each at a pick n pull type yard.

They will fit.
IIRC you would use the front wheels for the rear and the rear wheels fit in the front. Or am I thinking that is how I used my 88 IROC wheels? Anyways, the IROC's are 16X8 also.

I keep a couple sets on hand to roll stuff around on. I put a set on this Camaro when I sold it. 3rd and 4th gen f-bodies have them in the right bolt pattern, but I have some that are 5x4.5 and I just elongated the holes with a die grinder. If they don't clear your brakes, some will fit better backwards.

The "fronts" are about a zero offset. "Rears maybe 3/4-1" in if I remember right. Ran them with 255-50-16 on my second gen for years with BFG R shaved autocross tires
Classic Industries repops them and probably has exact specs.

Ditch those uber-tall center caps, slam the stance, and those would look GREAT just as they are!

Agreed but I'm not sure if losing the center caps is possible up front due to the wheel bearings. Those "show" caps usually cover the real nut and cap.

I agree. I think they will look great on your car.
