Anyone fitted a Wiper & Hi Beam control column in 69 Camaro ??

Ive got a standard tilt GM Column in my 69 Camaro.

Id love to know if anyone has fitted a late model column with Hi Beam & Wiper control to a 69 Camaro ???

A better way to do this is to take a newer steering column and put the entire head unit on the bottom half of your tilt column. It works and you get the spring tensonier not the screws to keep it tight.

Agree with rebuilding yours with a late model upper section, you have to clearance your upper mount for the high beam rod.

Or you can modify a third gen column and sell your original tilt for 400.00

I put a 1989 one in my 1969 Camaro but it's more work. There is a post somewhere where I explained some of the steps.
