Im not too familiar with the set up your running but you might have to modify the mounting brackets to rotate out of the way OR modify the shock mount.

Is anyone familiar with the way the lower shock mount is on these cars to fully understand what i`m talking about?is it possible to recloate the shock forward like on the pass. side?

      Thanks

Modify or build a new mount

You could swing the mount around towards the front for clearance, but you would have to likely modify the upper mounting setup a bit to get it to line up properly. I would build new mounts (or buy some from a place like Comp. Eng./Summit), and move both shocks inward on top and bottom for extra tire clearance someday while you're at it.

Consider this....You may have the bracket's reversed. This comes up quite a bit on the first Gens, and others from this forum have actually flipped the brakcet and ran the caliper on the opposite side of the rotor i.e. instead of the calipers riding at the 2 O' Clock position they would ride at the 10 O' Clock position.

Some have found this out the hard way (If they did not read the instructions), others have done this to accomadate the set up they have (reversed the thread inserts in the Aluminum brackets).

Tip: The Wilwood kit will work with the caliper mounted Front side or Rear side ( Sure beats relocating shock mounts). I have heard that the E-Brake cable can be a bit tricky though (but by all means not impossible). We recommend the Lokar cable kit.
