Hey everybody, just wanted to share mypro touring build with you. The “Rot Cadillac” is a 1972 montecarlo with big block caddy 472 and th400 and 12 bolt posi in therear. As far as mods i'm runnning d52 wilwood calipers upfront andhelwig sway bar. Rear disk brake conversion will be in the future forthe car. Wider wheeels will aslo be in the car's furture. The mainthing that I want to replace is the springs, i've seen a few of thechevelle guys running circle track springs and adjusters, I don'tknow if any of you would recommend that set up or if you have anotherset up you would recommend?

Looks sweet. I've always been a big fan of those cars. Back in HS my buddy's dad had a 1970 Monte SS, LS5 car with a 2.73 gear. Shifted into 3rd at about 80 mph...lol

thanks. The monte's my first muscle car i've built. i'd like to turn her into a corner carver, just gotta figure out what parts i should start ordering. Spring are the main thing i'm struggling with, i don't really want to run coilovers, i've thought about the circle track springs. So many options.

not a whole lot, thumper cam, rebuilt heads, alumium intake and 770 holly, it make decent power, i would like to supercharge or turbo charge it

The Thumper cam is letting a lot of power slip by but I bet its still a decent puller.

yeah, i only have 308 gears in the 12 bolt, but the tail end will still get pretty happy. The hard part about the caddy motors is that they don't make a whole lot for them and what is made is expensive, mts has a 500 hp and 600 tq cam that they sell, i've thought about it, i have to do some head work before i could run it. the guys from mts say the caddy's come alive if you throw some boost at them.
