      Wheel adapters

Okay, want to use a set of Y2K Corvette wheels on my 1978 Camaro and I know I need a set of wheel adapters. What I need to know is how important the centering is. (Hubcentric vs. lugcentric) I know that going lugcentric is bad, but almost all of the adapters I have seen look like they are built that way on the wheel side.

It doesn't seem to be a problem getting the adapter to center on the hub. It's finding one that will center the wheel on the adapter that I'm worried about.

I'm thinking I may have to make my own.

      BTW, Vette Brakes sucks.
I e-mailed them asking about their adapters and what size I need and they tell me I have to try mounting the rims and then seeing what spacing I want. No suggestions, just a BS answer.
To top it off their overpriced adapters use the lugs to center the wheels.
