2" inch drop base or greater for Holley carb needed

I can't find a 2" or greater air filter base drop. I can't modify the air cleaner. I will have to find a proper base drop or go with a different style filter. I head of the l88 corvette base but not sure if specs. Any help would be great. Part numbers would be helpful too.

If it didn't clear with a 3" tall filter, then I was going to get a 2.5" paper filter and try it out. (Purolator PN A60102, Fram PN CA342, NAPA 2102, Wix PN 42102)

This is what I used to run w/ my Barry Grant. This is about 2" drop with a 3-1/2" filter. 2-1/8" above the flange and you can not have a choke tower. http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?prod=61-4500

I found one with a 2" drop and one with a 3.5" drop. First one was allstar and the second was moroso. The only issue with the moroso is it's an offset flange. Orders both and will keep the best one. Thank you

Talk to Dave at Pro-Touring F-Body. He has a lot of experience with the drop base air cleaners and also has a few different drops that he supplies for the F-Body shaker cars. He'll probably be able to put together a low profile air cleaner that still flows well for you. I know the latest PTFB Trans Am drop base shaker kits have been flowing over 1000cfm.
