Narrowing Rear Seat Frame For DSE Mini Tubs

I found another link that was showing just modifying the seat bottom, Narrowing it using some rod. Just curious if the seat back needs to be modified as well? I have the seat bottom stripped down and will do the back next. Would like to know any good advice.

Yes it needs to be modified as well. I have a write up someone did a few years back with pics. Let me know if you need it.
