Seat brackets for aftermarket seats...who to go with?

So far I've only come across Wedge for a 2nd gen. Are there any other companies that make bolt in brackets? Any experience with Wedge?

Never heard of them, but right now there is an ebay coupon for $20 off $100 floating around and I just bought some Planted brackets for $120 each shipped. They are apparently made in Wisconsin or some such place and are good enough that there are tons of fake Chinese clones of them. Mine won't be here for a few days so at present I cannot comment on the quality. Will post back when they get here.

Thanks! I'd appreciate your thoughts on them when you get them.

Seat brackets for aftermarket seats...who to go with?

      We use planted most often.
They're made in Washington by the way. I might have some 2nd gen ones in stock that we had test fit in a 75-81 TA and they didn't work (70-74 only) - I'll check this afternoon

I have wedge brackets and sliders in my 1st gen mounted to Recaro SE's(simlar to LM) they get the job done..Not fancy looking like the planted ones tho. I will say that my seat height went down from stock but its prbly a combination of the seat and the bracket but either way I like it.
Also the sliders let me put the seat about 6" further rearward so i can stretch my legs. I am 6"1

Good to know on the seat being a bit lower. So if I'm reading correctly, I'd need brackets and sliders to have full adjustability?

Dale...I appreciate you taking a look. Thanks!

I have Planted seat brackets in my Cutlass with Courbeau seats and sliders. I cut the legs down on the brackets are re-welded them to lower the seat even more. I'm 6'5".

I'm assuming you need both the brackets and sliders, correct?

Sorry, looks like I sold them a few weeks back.

Yes the sliders give you the front-to-rear movement. They are not designed to bolt directly to the floor, so that's why you also need the floor brackets.
