Recaro or 4th gen seats in 69 Camaro
Well, I was about to order some Recaro style Topline seats.

I am 6'2". I was told to stick with the oem seats because they are the lowest seats around. I sit fine in the stock seats but I just need more lateral support. Are 4th gen seats in a 69 Camaro the same height as stock? Has anybody who has installed Recaros noticed they are taller than stock seats?

BTW, in an earlier thread I was looking for brackets and sliders for Recaros in a first gen Camaro. I found this company. They have them and can custom make them any height you need. They do tons of muscle car seat work. www.wedgeengineering.net They are VERY friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

I had 4th gen Camaro seats in my 69. They sat about the same height as the stockers, and it was nice to be able to recline them a bit. They were pretty simple to install also, check out the pics on my site www.ExtremeG.net
