Looking for something new for my 69 but really know nothing about wheels and which are good and not good. Not sure what size I have now but Id say they are probably 15s. The car is stock height. Id prefer a black rim over chrome as im just not really a chrome guy.
Thanks!

We'll need more info, in order to make good recommendations. There are literally 1000's of wheels that match your description.
1. What budget to stay under?
2. Street use, or track proven?
3. What diameter wheels do you prefer, front and rear?
4. Looking for a solid black wheel, or a black center with a chrome/polished lip?
5. Monoblock construction (like modern cars) without a lip, or a wheel with a deep lip?
6. What are your favorite spoke patterns? 5-spoke, 10-spoke, mesh, V-spoke, etc... Help us narrow it down.
7. Wheels with exposed fasteners, or no fasteners shown?

Well to start here are some pictures of my car http://imgur.com/a/Kwhpw
For budget nothing expensive I wouldnt really want to spend more then $600 for the whole set. It would just be fore street use. Right now I have 15's I would be fine with 15's again but I like thinner tire profiles so I wouldnt mind 17 with a thinner tire but I have stock suspension and Im not mini-tubbed so Im not sure what fits. I definitely dont want chrome not really a fan of it so it would be solid black or whatever else you might recommend for my color car (I do like how my current wheels match the car color). I like the 5 and 10 spoke wheel I also like the more "steelie" type look i guess? Like the wheels that have a bunch of circles in them. I have stock drum breaks so dont really need to show them off with an open wheel. I dont really like when the wheel has a bunch of screws on them so I guess no fasteners shown. Thanks for helping!

I won't be able to recommend anything in that $600/set range, as I am not in that market. Most quality wheels will cost well over double, with most of the sets shown on this forum being upwards of $1000 per wheel.
I can, however suggest what sizes you should be shopping for. That might help you search ebay.com or TireRack.com or DiscountTireDirect.com for possible choices.

If you like a 5 spoke wheel, you can do a Gunmetal US Wheel 701:

or Gloss Black MB Wheels Old School:

Both sets are under $600 for 17x8 and 17x9.5 with a +6mm offset, which is pretty ideal on a 1st gen.

If you don't like that style and want to raise your budget a little, you can get US Mags Rambler 111's,
17x8 w/4.5" BS and run them on all four corners for $700 for the set of 4:

Yeah I really like these too actually. I dont really like the "muscle" looking wheels believe it or not haha I just feel like they are overused and like more modern wheels like this one. Thanks

You might also consider the Rocket Racing Boosters. They are the classic Muscle look as said already but look decent. Pics of 18x8 4.75 BS with a 245/40 front and 18x9 5.25 BS 275/40 on rear on my car. Yes you can get them in 18x8 w/4.5" bs and 18x9.5 w/5.25" bs. The 18x9.5 might require some fender rolling, or running a narrower tire (255 vs 275). Every car is different, and when you're pushing the max size anyways, just a 1/4" can make all the difference. Ultimately you'd want 18x8 w/4.75" bs and 18x9.5 w/5.5" bs to minimize risk of rubbing anywhere.
