I know there are clearanced tanks made by ricks and I think DSE. However, these all require electric fuel pumps. Someone on here I thought made them from stock tanks and they looked darn good. The corners were just cut, welded nicely, and it even looked like the tank was regalvanized. I can not find the original post where a picture was posted. Can someone direct me to the guys who make these clearanced tanks? They were like $150 if I remember right. I know for SURE they were under $300. Much cheaper than a rick's stainless tank. Any help- links or contact info- would be greatly appreciated.

it does not look like they offer a notched corner version for a 77 TA. Their tanks also appear to be for fuel injection only. I just put a new large mechanical pump and pick up on from robb mc a couple years ago and would like to keep that setup. Does anyone else offer a notched tank or am I going to have to do some cutting and welding?

Can't be too hard to do it to a stock replacement tank. If you can weld.

They offer it for non EFI too, but yeah I guess the notched part is your issue.
Sorry, not sure of anyone else that does stock style tanks for 2nd gens

Schroeder, you can use a carb fuel pressure regulator with an electric pump ;)

Are you running a setup that's not leaf spring?

I just bought all the new mechanical stuff and it seems to work, so I don't wanna replace it already.

I'm running a quadralink from dse with fat rear tires
