Need help with tire sizes 18/19 combo

I'm at the point right now where I need to start looking for tires. The current set I have on my wheels were just for mock up purposes. My wheels are 18x9 front and 19x10 rear. This car will be street/auto-x. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I'm considering Nitto NT05 275/35/18 front and 305/35/19 rear. Anyone know whats the most difference the width between front and rear can be before it will cause and issue?

We run 335/275 on our tempest and it hauls around corners. Sure maybe it'd handle better with 315's but I see no issue with those sizes.

If you want a good Autocross tire, avoid the Nitto NT05. Any of the other 200TW tires are better. If I had your wheels I would probably run a Bridgestone Re-71R 265 or 275 up front, 275 or 285 rear. The RE-71R will stick better than the other 200TW tires, but will also wear out faster. Hankook RS-3 is a longer wearing option, and a good mix between handling and street wear. Hankook also has a 305 available for the rear.

I just looked at the RS-3, and did a little web searching. Seems like the overall feedback is good and its a great street/auto-x tire. I was looking at sizes also. I see the 305 is outside of the minimum rim width for this tire by .5". I did find a pic online of a one mounted on a 19x10 and noticed no sidewall bulge, which would lead me to be leave less flexible?. The next width size down is 275 which is a little narrower than I wanted to go out back.

That 275 will work just fine in the rear, we have a friend that has run 275x19 and 305x19 on the rear in FS and it had great handling and traction with both. I have run 275x18 on a 10.5 in the rear and it was very good only marginally worse than a 335x18 Rival S on 12's. Bridgestone RE71R's are great tires!

The 305 would be fine on a 10 inch rim, but realistically it won't handle any better than the 275. Of course I ran 335s (NT05s actually) once on a 10 inch wheel so a 305 would be easy...
