68 Buick GS California, biggest rear Wheel /tire combination?

i was wondering if i can find examples, pics and infos on the

biggest Wheel /Tire combination
on the rear of a 68' Buick GS

i dont mind doing minor fender works, but not much more

i read 15x8 5.5 BS with 325/50 can be possible with minor fenderworks?

is a 10 inch wheel possible?
what you think?

its stock hight in the back!
would airhocks help to create the needed space/clearance?

Might not be the best place to ask for that scenario, there are very few people running 15's here, and even less running air shocks.

That said, having just restored a 68 Buick GS with 17x8's and squeezing 255's in the back, I can guarantee a 325 won't fit without use of a sawzall. Unless you're talking about using air shocks to jack it up to clear the wheelwells entirely, then you're really in the wrong forum!

its more about a 8-10 wide wheel than the 15 inch height of the wheel..
