      275/35/18 on 9" rim?

On 1967 Camaro w/ stock subframe but ridetech Tru Turn, & all other front end goodies. Stock front wheel wells/fenders (RS), I don't want to alter wheel wells/fender & just read (PT forum) a 9" wheel will avoid fitment issues that a 10" wheel would prob make (for me), I can't find a 265 & matching 335 (it's tubbed) 1. any suggestion who/brand sells both tire sizes 2. Would a 275 fit a9" wheel okay? Thx brethren!

Are you aware that the 48 Hour Camaro is running 18x10 275s up front with a stock subframe and only very minor modification to the inner fender? I am running 18x10 275s with a DSE sub frame and I made no changes to the inner or outer fenders at all. The only thing changed was to remove the factory inner fender to fender bolts and replace them with button head bolts.

I have my Nitto's on a 9" rim and the sidewalls have little to no bulge. If you're buying wheels get the absolute widest you can, like at least a 18x9.5, because you never know what tires will be available even next year. Its better to have sidewalls pulled out than pulled in.

Michelin sells those sizes- however last time I checked, the 335's were on backorder.

Yes, 275s are much better on 9.5".

I had 275s on a 8 1/2 in rim with 4 3/4 in backspacing on the rear of my 76 Firebird. No problems. When I ran a 10 1/2 in wide drag slick I had to remove the rear seat belt bolt and pound in the bump with a sledge hammer. Hope this helps.

I'm running those exact sizes on the front but with a DSE sub. I had the wheels on my old wayne due sub first, or I probably would have run a 10" wheel. I have had the wheel/tire combo on the car for almost 2 years & wear is dead even across the tread. I'd say they have probably 8-9k mi on them give or take- road trips, auto-x, and in town cruising.
