64 Falcon with 18's, color options

Ok guys. The time has come to do a wheel order for my 64 Falcon aka the Black Phantom. My business is a dealer for RSV forged wheels so I will be going with them. After a lot of debating we picked a style that we wanted and now the hard part is color. I am trying to keep an open mind to different options here. Rough photoshop job. The car also has 13" drilled and slotted wilwoods front and rear with black 6 and 4 piston calipers.

Ride height will be lower in front and a tad lower in rear once set properly. And the rear wheel in reality has a 3.5" dish and the front has a 1" lip

So what I cam out with is as follows. Purple is there because all my autometer gauges have dark purple LED's in them and my projector HID headlights glow purple in the center (its called a devil eye) when the running lights are on. That being said I think the purple lip would be a cool idea.

Candy purple lip with satin black center

      This is the real thing

Blue lip with satin black center

Brushed lip with brushed candy black center

I feel like this is a common wheel look color wise....

Ive always found it interesting that some threads get no response and others get a hundred.... So far ive had a 5:1 ratio of people saying yes to purple for some odd reason. I didn't expect anyone to like the purple to be honest.

I'm didn't expect myself to like the purple as much as I do. I actually like all three choices above but the black and silver is pretty sweet.

I have always like dark purple but I would have never thought to put it on a car. The autometer gauges look amazing purple and then the headlights will look even cooler.

Love the purple, but the colorfastness of different anodizing dyes differs, so I'd be a little nervous about that. Plus, brushed is a timeless, classic look that will never go out of style, much like your car, so that's what I voted for.
      It's what I does.

Yea I feel ya. It's a powdercoat of some sort that they do for the purple so I'll have to ask how long it will last as that deep color.

Im leaning towards a brushed aluminum lip and a satin or brushed black center now. The other colors I feel will get old after a point....

A interesting option I was given is a satin black center, gloss black lip, and then the rear inner lip a color so around the rotors there will be a hugh of whatever color I choose.
