I can't seem to find to many doing this. Everyone has 18's or doesn't have mini tubs or has an aftermarket subframe.

I would like to run 19x9s with 4.1875" backspace. The rear axle is a 53.625" long unit. DSE thinks this will work. My measurements show that it will be close.

On the front I have a stock subframe with speedtech street fighter kit-Coil overs, high clearance control arms, and high clearance sway bar. I want to run 19x9s because I think anymore will interfere badly on the frame of sway bar. I planned on 5.375" backspacing on these.

I wanna run anywhere from 315-345s on the rear and 275's or 285 on the front.

Does anyone have experience with a similar setup? I haven't found any. Speedtech has a blacked out 79 that originally had 19x10 up front but supposedly there was too much rubbing. Blake was not sure what the backspace was.

Help and pics if u have them would be greatly appreciated.

Look up tire sizes and overall diameters. If you find an 18x9 with say a 255/40 it may be close diameter to a 275/35/19. Then there is no issue, since the OD is the same.

I think I can get a 295/50-15 on the front. It'd only have a rub at complete full turn. A 285/35-19 would only be a 1/4" taller. But Blake at speedtech has Been here and supposedly he had rub on the frame.

So tire heights I can figure out so if anyone had backspace measures it'd be awesome.

Thanks a lot dale!

Actually just started a thread about this for my second gen and I see on the DSE 2nd gen they run a 275/35 R18 on the front but also with a stock frame that tire size won't rub on a full turn.
