Had my first accident this weekend - and unfortunately - it was in my Camaro. No one hurt - thank the lord!

Driver rear quarter has seen better days.

Question I have is - I got it home and tried to start it - but would not turn over. Fuel pump is not turning on - could the impact of the accident - cause the external fuel pump to stop running? It does not appear damaged nor does the wiring. Locate under the center of the car - in front on the rear axle housing - so no damage. I can hear the relay from the ECM clicking on - but no fuel pump noise. Just curious - if I should be looking at something else - before I order a new pump.

Thanks!

Disconnect the power wire at the fuel pump and determine if you do or do not have power there. That should point you in the direction you need to look next. Sorry to hear about the accident, that always sucks! Just glad no one was hurt. Hits like that can jar all sorts of things that you don't expect.

Sorry to hear. And expanding off of the previous post, you might try tapping it with the handle of a screwdriver, might have gotten stuck. And then try jumping it directly with another battery or other power source. If nothing gets fuel flowing, time for a new pump I guess. What kind of pump?

I tried the 12v at the relay - but not the pump - will have to try that and the tapping. Thanks

Accel High Pressure pump 74702 - which I see is not around anymore - see that 75702 is the closest match though.
