      1969 Chevelle - Wheel & Tire Suggestions

      ~69 Chevelle Malibu 396~
I'm new to this forum but wanted to see if I could get some help and suggestions on wheels and tires with size and backspace. Staggered or same size all around? On the fence regarding going all chrome or with a center black or graphite type finish. Want to go as big as I can without having to deal with clearance issues. Will be installing suspension kit that has approx 1" drop from stock. Budget $2000-$2500 ish. Would be great to see some examples of what's worked well for others.
      Thanks in advance,
      Brian

I went with TSW wheels because they were in my budget. 18" x 9.5" on all 4 corners with 20mm offset. I ran 275/35r18 tires on all 4 so I can rotate them as they wear. The front is a tight fit, but nothing rubs. The back has tons of room, but I'm going to get a 1/2" or 3/4" spacer to center the wheel in the tub better because of the offset. My car has a full ridetech setup which should be a 2" drop, the car is very low so if you're only doing a 1" drop that gives you even more room.

A bigger wheel will fit out back no problem, they just didn't offer a bigger size in the wheel I wanted. Good luck!

Buyer beware when it comes to bonspeed. You're in exactly the same pricerange I paid for my bonspeeds, when I stated my complaint on the finish, excuse was "but these are not $3-4000 wheels". Look at the blemished set I got compared to another customer. No resolution, initial delay was over 3 months after promised lead time and company just resurfaced on forums after 6 months off the radar after I published

I'd not recommend these guys to anyone. Hit or miss.
