Chevy BB Power steering pump with dual inlet options or modify my current?

I have a power steering pump currently running my Jeep steering box and I'm working on a part list and waiting for parts to come in to go to hydroboost, so I'm looking at either replacing my power steering pump or modifying it to have a second inlet (don't want to run a T).

Not sure I want to try to drill my current one, so wondering if there is an off the shelf unit and I'll just sell this one.

      Ahh it's a 396, This one has a 2 belt pulley.

But trying to find a pulley for that doesn't seem to be so easy. Everything appears to be key way. the one on my car is a bolt on (keyd), but all pumps that have dual inlet appear to be press fit, so now anyone know of a BBC power steering pulley that presses on?

      Thanks
      Tory

I would look at the pump from any of the C30 Chevrolet trucks up to the early 90s. A lot of them had hydroboost and still ran the v-belt setups until the body style changed in 92. Also the old 6.2 and 6.5 diesels ran hydroboost as well.

I picked up an '86 1 ton Chevy pump at my local parts store for about 60 bucks. The pulley is a Dorman I ordered from Summit (I think). It's not pretty as purchased but it will get painted eventually. I made an adapter fitting to plumb it for AN lines. 3/4" barb to -10 AN.

      The fitting.

I was at the shop earlier and snagged a few pics from a 91 TBI 454 with Hydroboost. It is a remote reservoir setup with a 2 groove V belt pulley. The reservoir is shown at the top center of the engine, just in front of the thermostat housing.

Okay so I've test fitted the dual inlet pump that I got with my BB power steering pump brackets and it's a go (of course Tory, they didn't make many changes with the saginaw pumps, ya ya ))

      Well anyways http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

That pump appears to work (I need to press the new pulley on to verify there is no gotchas with my belt setup but I think it will be fine...

I've got a machinist friend popping over tomorrow to see about cutting off the end of my hydroboost pump and threading it to accept the Brake Pedal Clevis.. I think I can just have him cut it off at the base of the eyelet and I may just be able to go cleavis only vs the extension rod, but I have it just in case.

Then it will be plumbing, I'll get things mounted and sorted and then grab some sizes so I can look at other OEM (GM) variants of the high pressure hoses and see what works the best (can't have too short and would rather not have too long ).
